Thanks for explaining! You are right about most of what you chose to address.
Yet you keep avoiding what I was speaking about: Wlad cheated like crazy during his fight with Povetkin, & should have been warned very early, then if he continued the illegal tactics penalized & disqualified.
And we cannot know who would have won if the rules were actually enforced.
OR what have happened if Povetkin cheated like that too.

Regarding how much muscle mass they carried, Wlad had more due to his height.
But given that Sasha was nearly as lean & 4" shorter & within 16 lbs...
For their height they carried about the same amount of muscle.

 

Since Wlad constantly cheated with incessant clinching pulling & grappling-not even to get free to punch, but to thwart all legal offense-we cannot say he would definitely have won if it was a properly, ethically officiated fight.

He seems to me better & would be favored, but you never know if a World Class fighter is going to take out a greater one for various reasons including style, motivation & strategy.

We were cheated of seeing how a fair fight would have gone due to terrible or minimal officiating.

 

Wlad octopused him. Yeah, he was very good in clinching and talented to be octopus and highly skilled there. He also was old but not too old yet. 37.

I can't guess what happened if he wasn't octopus.

 

He shouldn't retire because he could end up getting a title shot after. He still could beat whoever he fights next, underdog or not.

At the very least it will be a massive payday. Povetkin wont retire.
