Ruiz hasn't looked good since the first AJ fight. I hope he comes in shape and makes a fight of this.

I expect Wilder to win by brutal KO,Wilder does what Wilder does and Ruiz has looked far from stellar in his last 3 fights .

Ruiz has a great chin, but I can see him getting brutally knocked out here. Taller fighters with long jabs cause him problems.

Ruiz is gonna need a KO here.

He was decent in the Ortiz fight.

Is Ruiz Wilders best win if he beats him?

Yes and it isn't even close. Next best is Ortiz, and then after that uh... take your pick, doesn't really matter.

I'm backing Ruiz to win though. Not just because I think he can, but also because it reduces the chances of yet another Fury-Wilder match. Their fights were great but it's time to move on, tired of all the ****ing rematches.

    No, it would be:

    1) Ortiz I
    2) Ruiz
    3) Ortiz II

Agreed. Ruiz really struggled with an ancient Ortiz whose legs were clearly shot. I'm pretty confident in saying the younger version that Wilder beat was better than Andy.

So, what happens to Fury’s legacy if Ruiz wins this?

Ruiz has to beat Wilder first then the debate begins .

Ruiz is too fat too move out of the way of that nuclear right hand of Wilder.

His only chance is to close the gap and brawl it out at close quarters with Wilder and catch him with an uppercut or a temple shot.

It's say it's pretty close. Ruiz only beat Ortiz due to the knockdowns. Ortiz was winning the rounds because without the knockdowns he'd have won.

Nothing because Ruiz has pummeled your boy aj in 7 rounds once before. If Ruiz were to hypothetically stop Wilder in less time than Fury did, then we can talk

    Now if Wilder wins..... :(

    Uh oh

"Your boy" Did my support for Joshua in a couple of threads rattle you, big boy?
Ruiz folded HGH in half, I don't remember ever denying that. It was glorious. However, it must have hurt you when Joshua boxed his head off in the rematch.

If Wilder wins, he redeems the loss for the 2nd best win on his resume. 113-year-old, 245 lbs Ortiz. The same Ortiz that went life and death with Charles Martin :periodico:

    Uh oh.
