Ruiz gets up better than Fury if hit hard by Wilder and drops the dosser 2 or 3 times with fast, accurate and powerful blows to Widers dented temples.
Ruiz is at all time low confidence Wilder is on the brink of delusion if he can beat Ruiz This fight wouldn't happen under normal conditions but it might just. Ruiz might be finished mentally and happy to sell out. One big hit and he'll be dreaming of Burger King.
Depends, really. Andy struggled against Ortiz, but Ortiz is an elite boxer skill-wise. In fact, some of the set-ups Ruiz employed through the fight made me appreciate his craft more. Not an easy task, getting past a grizzled veteran Cuban. I've seen nothing to asses Wilder's current state as of the Helenius fight. Robert was as always a lumbering disappointment who thrived against equally overrated Kownacki, when he could pull the trigger on the back foot, fighting tall against defenseless opponent. His bet wins against Peter and Brewster happened 12 years ago, and since his gift against Chisora he lost in most of his somewhat important fights against Whyte, Duhaupas, and even Washington. Nothing to indicate he still had the skills (nor that he ever had them) to handle Wilder's pure athleticism and heavy hands. I reckon their chins are going to be a deciding factors -- if Wilder can crack Andy for good in a single shot, then it's as good as over because he is bound to get hit through the twelve rounds distance. If Ruiz can handle a bomb or two or rubber neck them good, I can see him methodically set up counter-engages and exploit Wilder's helplessness inside and on the back foot.
He struggled with a shot areola as well.. Wilder wiped much better versions of those guys out.. I think Wilder fks Ruiz up
Fat Andy is a broken man after being taken to slick school by AJ and dropped and nearly KO'd by Arreola's ghost. His lights actually went out for a split second when Arreola almost dropped him again. His knees dipped but he woke up just in time. He was terrified of Ortiz's geriatric power last time out
It's the perfect fight to see how legit Wilder's power really is If he can starch Ruiz then he is definitely the hardest puncher of all time. No questions. Ruiz is a tough one for Wilder, is Wilder really going to wait for Ruiz to walk into him to try and KO him with one punch? I assume Wilder holding back and not boxing Helenius at all was the plan knowing he'll quickly get Helenius to walk into him. He did it in the 2nd Ortiz fight. Don't even fight...just wait. The funny thing about both Ruiz Jr and Usyk is they got made to look decent because they slapped around that bodybuilder. Ruiz is done I think...and Usyk will be done also very soon. Leaving us with a human bomb, Tyson Fury and the real #2 Joe Joyce.
Ruiz is skilled with a solid chin and power. He can put some hard combos on Wilder. Can his chin hold against Wilder's tremendous power? It should be a great fight. Wilder by KO 70%, Ruiz by KO 30%.
Ruiz looked like dog **** in his last few fights since beating AJ. I'd pick Wilder and root for him too no doubt.
