    It's enough time to think of the next excuse.

    Ha. Perhaps, but doubtful. I reckon they’re confident of a win. Eddie Hearn does genuinely say next week a lot. “We should know more next week” It’s his tag line.

    Having said that, I think many are still waiting for Wilder’s big announcement from yesteryear. That was fun.

    Still looking like its very likely to happen

    Sure, the contracts are not signed yet...,,,but the process seems to be in full swing and the paperwork is apparently about to be exchanged. Sounds like they will be getting the fight signed shortly. Nothing negative/ no derailing disagreements just yet

    Looking good, guys! Looking REAL good

    Wilder insisted on a rematch clause, so if he is 100% sure that this will be his easiest fight, then why the rematch clause? Wilder has a small puncher's chance, that's it. Joshua is too strong and skilled for him..................Tyson Fury has another fight in August against Charr as his second tuneup fight, he will beat both Joshua and Wilder, but Wilder will retire after two fights with Joshua, he will be rich.

    Hearns admitted that times run out on a Joshua V Wilder fight being at Wembley in September. My money is on AJ meeting Povetkin there instead but with a deal in place for the winner to meet Wilder in 2019. I don’t mind if that’s the case but this only fighting twice a year is BS.

    From what I can find on it they are leaning towards October or November anyway

    Still no reported obstacles, so apparently things are still looking very likely to happen

    From WBN interview just posted today, Thursday;

    “In an interview with WBN, the promoter acknowledges that he doesn’t get along with Wilder’s handler Shelly Finkel and intimates that Wilder ——might have to bend in negotiations more than he would like——- as there really aren’t many big fights out there for him. “

    I wonder if that implies that Finkel is not meeting Hearn’s requirements

    ? ??

    Might be a speed bump after all

    The fight has to happen or it's going to look like the duck of the century for Joshua. And this is coming from someone who like Joshua. And while I don't believe Joshua is afraid to take the fight, I do believe as I said from the believing Hearn don't want this fight. It's way too risky for his cash cow.

    But Wilder has basically boxed Hearn in. Wilder has agreed to everything they asked for so if the fight isn't made it will be one of the biggest ducks ever. No way around that for Hearn.
