Weren't Helenius, Fury, and Pulev decorated or at least accomplished amateurs? I am pretty sure Wilder had 10 or so fights before going into the Olympics.

 

lets see, wilder now has been a pro for a full 3 years....his best opponent to date is 11-1 David Long

In the mid 80s he may have once scraped into the contender status, the issue is, it was 1998 when Vitali fought him.

Ive shown the guys the Klitschkos fought in their 20th fights. Hardly superstars at the time.
