Right now if they fought. Wilder in 1 round.

If they fought prior to Price's loss to TT. I would have favoured Price to get Wilder out in under 5 rounds.

Price wasn't the real deal before the Thompson loss, he was always gonna be exposed against a world level fighter

He's been put down hard before but nah he's never been put to sleep. He's able to take a decent amount of punishment just because he's so incredibly fit.

He was mentally strong as an undefeated fighter and able to bomb everyone out early.

That counts for alot in terms of end result

Yes those stamina and chin issues were there even then, but they werent exposed. And he was not carrying any mental scars.

To me he always used to look mentally unsure of himself and he always had defense and chin vulnerabilities, he got KO'd in the amateurs against Roberto Cammarelle and apparently he used to get bashed around by Pulev in sparring, Price never looked confident even after winning

The point is until he had suffered those mental scars under lights, he was a different animal.

In 9 of his first 15 fights he had a KO win in rounds 1-2 rounds.

I would argue had he fought those 15 fights again after his 2 losses to TT. Skelton and McDermott would beat a post-TT Price.

That is how badly scarred he was.

In fact, I would argue that Skelton even at that stage of his career beats many versions of Price post TT.

Also Big John at his best would weather the storm and stop Price late too.

So yes he was vulernable and some people saw that, but those scars werent there and he was a different fighter.

    That's my point i guess

His chin isnt bad at all although he has been in with a lack of punchers

When hit though he seems to take it well enough

I know a lot of people think this is a wash, But this would actually be a tough fight to call. Wilder would have never took this fight of course
