Deontay Wilder vs Dereck Chisora is set for April 4th

Chisora, agree to lose. Just lol. The man who has made a career out of absolutely refusing to give up or stop, who has made a career off being an absolute warrior who will go out on his shield for every loss, just being like “yeah sure I’ll fall over”? Chisora would knock out the asshat who even suggested that.

 

He's a tough man.
I've heard the "warrior" narrative - how else would they sell a limited journeyman/sparring-partner-type heavyweight as a "pay per view" fighter?
Maybe he's a "warrior". But plodding forward taking punches isn't necessarily being "a warrior", it's arguably being a punch-bag opponent whose there to lose. I'm not doubting his toughness or courage. But he's lost 13 times already, and he always come out smiling and counting the money, so you're have trouble convincing me he's worried about losing or worried about getting hit.
Neither losing nor getting hit seem to bother him at all.

 

People believe the narrative "he's a warrior", so "he'd never throw a fight".
But the same people have seen him sleep-walk through a couple of fights, lose a decision, come out smiling, laughing, a few weeks later starts talking about his next pay demand.

Chisora is only about the money. Titles never interested him. Losing never bothered him, getting hit never bothered him. Oh, but the narrative "what a warrior!" ....

This is professional boxing. Not a comic book movie or a heroic fairytale. These men are in it for the money.

Boxing is rigged. Everyone on this forum knows it. But I guess they still want to cling to some fairy-tale narratives, especially when it comes to the "crowd favourites".

Most boxers don’t do it for money. That’s a false narrative.
Money comes into it as they get older and get more responsibilities, but it’s not the reason they box

Scott and Helenius fights were suspect. Both friends with Wilder, both get KO1. Scott was a clear dive. Helenius showed up for the biggest fight of his life in the twilight stages of his career completely soft after being in great shape for both Kownacki fights. Then again against AJ which he showed up in very good shape despite taking it on short notice. and he put in a good effort in that one.

 

Not everything is a conspiracy but pretending that boxing isn't full of shenanigans is hilarious.
