In the third part of the legendary trilogy Wilder takes on top rated heavyweight Bermane Stiverne in his new training environment, the Toronto IHOP. Can The Bronze Bomber navigate the chairs, tables and the tricky promotional display near the cookie stand and successfully close in on his most dangerous opponent? Can Stiverne avoid Wilder's probing jab in time to order the Ultimate Waffle Stack and Buttermilk biscuits and gravy combo which is fuelling his stunning rise through the WBC rankings?
Ok then, this whole saga... who said what to who, the details of the Hearn offer to Wilder and the now infamous emailed $50m retort, the fine points of the contracts, date, venue.... undercard, network etc etc... these have all been explained, finalised and dismissed by... a tweet quoting Dominic Breazeale... lol
I like this fight & give Breazer a good shot at pulling the upset. I think he's improved significantly following the experience against Joshua & has a couple of good wins under his belt since. If he can get himself into the fight, he'll give Deontay all he can handle & then some. I also like the fight for Deontay, despite its risk. He needs to get another decent fight under his belt prior to unification with Joshua & this is about the best one out there for him. Who wins? Deontay deservedly a big favourite, but Breazer a live underdog, imo. I reserve judgement.
Deonkey wins, it's his favourite type of opponent. He's definitely not fought 40 dominic breazeale's already has he? Oh wait...yeah he's fought 40 dominic breazeale's. If he loses, then it's a miracle, cause Stiverne, Molina, all the others etc...99% of those are the same type of opponents, just fat slow people who put their guards up. It's unbelievable how he can get away with fighting the same guys pretty much over and over again. I know people hate on Floyd and a few others for opposition, but this guy is on a whole new level...His record stands as this: Fight 1: Slow, high guard fatman Fight 2: Slow, high guard fatman Fight 3: Slow, high guard fatman And so the pattern continues. even Ortiz can qualify in that category, maybe you'd remove the high guard, and replace with some boxing skill instead, but still....an old, fat Ortiz was made for Wilder. And still he struggled! After fighting 39 other slow, fat blokes! I can't take this man seriously until he fights someone with some good movement, or some youth, or...just...anything different to what he has faced previously.. Anyways, he dominates Breazeale, knocks him out 1 round before AJ did, just so they can put it in AJ's faces and somehow act like they aren't corrupt.
