Wilder`s reach would allow him to land his big shot first and he has a far better jab than Shavers had.

50/50, since it could go either way. They both have the ability to knock each other out and Shavers was a better fighter than Ortiz.

Why did you ask this question your gonna force me to answer in a way that hurts! Okay styles make fights and this is a bad match up for Shavers. I'd pick Wilder to Win via KO, as much as that pains me to say!

I think Wilder stops him TBQH..............Shavers despite the vaunted power was very beatable.

Either one winning by KO wouldn't shock me, but I'd definitely favor Wilder

Once Wilder suffers his first professional brutal KO loss (which will happen soon, since he started fighting higher level of opposition) he wont be winning these mythical matchups.

Shavers Nichols him, he is genuine top contender.

If Shavers fights smart (as he sometimes did) he might catch Wilder with one of those looping overhand rights that he liked to throw over opponents' jabs. Then it's likely we see Wilder do the chicken dance and flop on the ground like a fish. If he tries to bum rush Wilder then he might get caught coming in and take a nap himself. Kinda more depends on how Shavers approaches the fight than vice versa.

Who ever lands the first 1-2 and with his Reach I think Wilder does but to quote Eddie Hearn: "it's genuinely a 50-50 fight"

There's a reason Wilder has avoided power punchers his whole career.

    Shavers by KO.

I do not rate wilder, but he would bear shavers easily. This poll just highlights how many idiots are how much of a joke this forum is.

Depends how Shavers approaches the fight. When he was on his game he could be a handful for a lot of fighters, as Ali found.

Ali was in decline during that fight, had been at least a couple of years.
