Wilder has serious physical advantages but is only half the boxer holyfield is so they don't matter. Holyfield knocks him out.
Holyfield would counter punch him to death,no off balance fighter defeats Holyfield. Holyfield actually fights back too....his chin holds up Should he get hit solid. Wilder is NOT proven to knock out TOP guys quickly,,in fact he only fought ONE top guy and no one knows how good Ortiz's chin really is ? ... what is proven is that wilder can be rattled at any time in the fight. The Real Deal Holyfield would have to have a real off night to lose this, Wilder just doesn't throw enough volume to get holyfield out of rhythm...its that simple. Holyfield stops Wilder probably around 7 after seeing not much is coming his way and sees a clear opening. A repeat of Ortiz round but he finishes Wilder.
Holyfield, no doubt. Way too skilled and Wilder way too hittable. Wilder might have a chance if he came out all guns blazing and tried to turn it into a war. He hits harder than Holy and can go fast and hard. Unfortunately Wilder tends to start slow and takes a while to get the range. I suspect that by the time Wilder gets into his groove he's gonna be a mess.
Holyfield never had a easy fight on the elite level, ever. According to the forum experts Tyson is nothing but a bully who fought bums and got beaten by bums but somehow Holyfield beating that bum Tyson is elavated to Superstar level for beating Tyson by the same "experts". Holyfield is 2-5 against Bowe, Lewis and Moorer.......let that sink in for a minute, besides Tyson he lost way more than he won. Fact. Holyfield should be favored but he never ever did great against big man who fight back. The main issue would be if Holyfield would pass a doping test.
If Wilder fought Holyfield NOW he would be his best opponent and younger than Ortiz. Both have heart conditions too
