This could be a modern day Tyson-Douglas. Remember, Tyson was 37-0 and coming off a 7-month layoff, when he fought a 42-1 underdog, replacement fighter named Buster Douglas.

Wilder's record right now is 37-0, and he is coming off a 7-month layoff, fighter a heavy underdog, replacement fighter.

Douglas beat Tyson, and Gerald Washington could very well beat Wilder.

I am going to say wilder Ko within 8 rounds. but I think Washington has a chance if he can hit wilders chin. would be a cool story if Washington could somehow pull it off.

Stiverne is average, hes not even relevant without Don King as his promoter...whatever. He lost to Derrick Rossy really and was knocked down. Stiverne is the hype job Wilder fans created! he has the mystique like Takam..a guy boxing for a very long time yet has no actual relevant wins but for whatever reason is always put as THAT guy you have to beat???

funny you are crying about wlad laying on someones neck. that tactic was all that saved fury when cunningham was schooling him. ali used that tactic extensively in all his big fights in the seventies.

stivernes biggest win was a come from behind tko in the tenth round, against a guy wlad ko'd in two. wlad never even threw a right the whole fight, beat austin one handed.

Wilder is likely going to win, but I hope he gets knocked out cold. I tried being a fan of the guy. He was sort of fun the way he went for the KO; but, his choice of opponents has made it impossible to continue supporting him. The guy has not taken on one serious contender since winning the belt. He never took one on before winning it either.

Not for nothing but any chance of a Can't hardly wait sequel...like a reunion movie? Can hardly wait? where all the friends are old with kids and dread going to the get together ? :aaaaa:
