I'd lean learn toward Wilder here. Could go either way.

Wilder was faster and sharper (when he wasn't going mental looking for a KO). He likely lands a laser guided right hand straight through Coetzee's gloves and drops him for the count. Coetzee was quite slow and clumsy really.

Coetzee may have been just that but I just think Wilder never learnt to box.He does not have the fundamentals.

He'd have enough to catch the lumbering Coetzee IMO.

Coetzee - Wilder hasn’t beaten anyone outside of a 40 plus year old, off roids Ortiz. He just got beat like a pulp by a “feather fist”

Nothing feather fisted about the shots Fury was hitting him with that night.

I think Wilder would KO Gerry, Coetzee wasn't a confident fighter

I don't think Gerrie can avoid enough of Deontay's right hands and he was a little straight up. He was strong and a good puncher, but wasn't exactly slick. Gerrie didn't seem the most confident fighter at times and I don't think he would land enough on the rangier Deontay in return.
Gerrie's chin was decent, but Wilder would likely stop him mid-rounds.
