Ike was NOT over rated he was just coming into his prime when that lying hooker destroyed his career

Im not a guy that glorifies past fighters, but in this case its hard not seeing Ike walking Wilder down and beating him up after a couple rounds.

Ike TKO around the 8th imo.

Potus, he gets bludgeoned. Ike could take his single shots if he can take Tua's without flinching, then he smashes feck out of him mid rounds

That all well and good, but Wilder is clearly more powerful than Tua, much bigger and so would be fighting as comfortable as possible, and doesn't actually just throw one punch at a time once he hurts someone. I think Ike's chin is overrated (Brilliant without doubt, and much better than Wilder's). I like wilder here, IF he actually used his jab, which is a massive if, but if he did hed push Ike back with it, throw his right until he hurt him and then go all windmill on his *ss. But if he doesn't use his jab (like normal when he just waits for opportunities) then Ike KOs him

Ibeabuchi has achieved almost God like status amongst some on here which I tend to think is over the top.
However going off what i’ve seen of him he certainly looked like a heavyweight who could have been in the mix amongst the top heavies at the time.
My first thoughts here are that he’d crush Wilder, who’s fundamentals are so lacking.
A lot’s been made that Tua’s shots didn’t make a dent in him and his chin is obviously very sound.
You wonder though whether Wilder’s longer punches from distance or mid range might have an effect.
Whatever else is said about Wilder there’s no doubt about his power.
Also a lot of Tua’s shots Ike could see coming it was that sort of fight, an inside slugfest, Wilder on the other hand tends to ambush you out of the blue with that right hand.
If Ike managed to avoid the haymaker and I think even he could be stopped by it, I would expect him to stop Wilder, he is simply the better all round fighter.

    Not a hope
Taller/longer yes, heavier and stronger not in the same ball park imo
Wilder is not pushing Ike back with his jab

Well what fighter as good as Fury did Tua drop (twice)

I agree, but Wilder has been outweighed most of his career, doesn't change much

Wilder has a real snappy jab, Ike never showed he was physically very strong, not enough to take snappy jab after jab without faltering.

If Tua couldn’t put a dent in Ike’s chin after there record setting punch output fight then Wilder with those skinny legs would be in a lot of trouble against a guy like Ike. Ike had great stamina, chin and power.... the only type of fighter who would beat a prime Ike would have been a smart boxer with good power capable of adjustments and Wilder is not a smart boxer and would play right into Ike’s style.... plus you have to factor in crazy Ike was just plain nuts and thought he was fighting for the gods or something like that

He has never been in with a fighter as good as Ike, they've been terrible his opposition George ffs, you don't need telling that. If Wilder worries about Joshua, then he would never ever ever entertain the president. Its usually opinions on this forum, but you need telling on this one. As it stands, with every little bit of info we have on both fighters this fight never gets made if they come along together, and if they did, id bet healthy amounts of money with you, that Wilder don't see 7
