    the boxing boards of control that license james toney fights should be fined huge

    james toney clearly has some brain damage from boxing/ his speech is so badly slurred .
    shows the dangers of boxing .

    Well, a boxing insider (I'll just say he's a former multiple super welterweight IBF, WBA and NABF championship contender who also held minor and international belts) suggested that Wilders handlers were indeed looking at Toney as a future possible option, this is no joke! There was even a WBC official present at the Toney fight due to that. But since it's a unification fight Toney doesn't need to be ranked with the WBC to make it happen, and that's why team Wilder is so interested in that fight.

    Anyways, I believe Toney will either retire or go for the Briggs-Oquendo winner instead of Wilder. And Toney has a chance of winning that. Last thing I heard was that Wilder is going to rematch Stiverne, this is a real joke fight right there...

    Toney is in a win situation now and doesn't need to fight, all he has to do is get his promotion company involved and relinquish the belt then stage a world title fight under JT Promotions and build up a bit of demand for the belt.
