Jimmy fought under the same lights son. He was dehydrated because threw every shot like it was his last and he had no pace. Jimmy Young spanked your Demi God with relative ease all but a few shaky moments that you no doubt cling to.

So did Joey Maxim against Robinson, son.

    Did Maxim "clown" Sugar Ray?

Reread my post, I edited it. It’s different because Young actually slapped Foreman around start to finish. Robinson was winning at the time he succumbed. The heat be dammed if you can’t pace yourself you’re not a real pro.

Then Sugar Ray must not have been a real pro?

And Young didn't slap Foreman around from start to finish. Foreman was manhandling him in the early rounds. Even got warned for fighting too dirty. Young was nearly out halfway through. Young said he was "out" in the seventh round, Foreman could've just pushed him over and he didn't know how he survived.

I’ve seen the fight it wasn’t that close fanboy he was warned for cheating because he could barely make touch down. There were a few rough moments for Young by virtue of Foreman’s power but mostly it was all Jimmy.

You also realise the night that they fought it wasn’t even as hot as Foreman’s native Texas? The lights are a played up excuse, Young a relative Journeyman and not even close to a great fighter actually stood toe to to at some points and whipped Foreman in his element and made him look like an oaf, that was also long before the last few rounds when both were fresh.

Yes, the hallucinations of seeing God and the 10 years out of the ring because he thought God spoke to him were just an excuse? Got it.

Young didn't "clown" Foreman. Young didn't "slap him around" from the beginning to the end. Foreman was mauling and beating Young up like he beat up everyone else and when he failed to finish Young in the seventh (and Young says he was out), Foreman became dehydrated to the point he was hallucinating after the bout.

Fighters get dehydrated and lose. Even the best of them, like Sugar Ray Robinson and George Foreman.

George Foreman had 81 pro fights. He was strapped to a gurney and was sent to the hospital for dehydration after ONE fight.

    Blah, blah, blah.

You’re never going to hear reason.

Watch the fight, watch Young spank Foreman all but a fleeting few good moments, this pattern consists while they’re fresh all the way to the final stretch.

    That is all.

It’s certainly possible or that Young could out slick wilder to a decision. Jimmy was very hard to hit flush, had a good chin and made a career out of making good fighters look bad. And wilder is no sweet scientist. A lot of judges didn’t particularly care for Young’s style however and he lost several decisions because of it. And while he was difficult to stop, it wasn’t impossible. Not totally sure who takes this one but wouldn’t be surprised either way

One boxer (Young) said he had no idea how he managed to survive because he was out. The other boxer gets carted out of the stadium on a gurney because he's so dehydrated he thinks he's died and gone to hell and is talking to God asking to be saved ... and he's hospitalized for dehydration.

And you're like, "Ah, Foreman never hurt him. It wasn't hot. That was an excuse."

    Whatever man.

Pfft, read my posts. Listen, the fact is Jimmy Young embarrassed Foreman out of boxing and into the church. He was too much and too tough for George, Foreman thought only someone as good as Ali had the goods like all his fans but the difference is Foreman knows now that isn’t the case since the 70s you’ve got some learning on the other hand.

Yes, on a cold, blustery night in San Juan, Jimmy Young so embarrassed George Foreman that George faked a hospital stay and quit boxing for 10 years until he was sure Jimmy Young could no longer beat him.

The LONG Con, as they say.

    Got it. :hang

Such was the "mastery" of Young.

Too bad Young couldn't have done the same against Clay Hodges, "Tiger" Williams, Randy Neumann, Earnie Shavers, Billy Aird, Ossie Ocasio, Pat Cuillo, Gerry Cooney, Phil Brown, Tony Fulilangi, Chuck Gardner, Eddie Richardson or Tim "Doc" Anderson.

I guess it wasn't cold enough on those nights, like it was that snowy evening n old San Juan.
