When Deontay Wilder won the WBC Heavyweight Championship against Bermane Stiverne, Joyce was still an amateur. Wilder blasts Joyce

For this match up both are on their best form hypothetically

Awful style matchup for Wilder. Joyce will put the pressure on and not give him space and drowned him with activity.

Parker and Dubois are much better wins than anything Wilder ever did. Even Bryant Jennings would've been among Wilder's best wins. I know that doesn't automatically make Joyce better h2h but it counts fot something.

I don’t think so. It’s actually irrelevant because Wilder wouldn’t have gone anywhere near him. He wouldn’t even face Dillian Whyte FFS.

Joyce needed 10 to break down Dubois, who is more fragile than Wilder with far less heart. He needed 11 to break down Parker, who had nothing to keep Joyce off after 4 rounds.

Joyce's head would be a magnet for Wilder's right hand, he'd get violently KO'd sooner or later. It's Wilder vs a better version of Breazeale.

Parker landed at will on Joyce because his strategy was to block punches with his face.

That failed against Zhang, and is not a great plan against Wilders right hand.

Joyce's defence even in his prime was pretty poor, he was very very hittable still - there was a reason why he was known for his chin until Zhang exposed it. Also, Wilder had more power and speed in his prime, and he was also pretty resilient and durable.

    Wilder mid rounds KO.

Wilder really should have fought Whyte, I'm not sure why that fight didn't happen.

Joyce started his career rather late and basically peaked during COVID, whilst Wilder was tied up with Fury.

Yeah Ortiz is Wilder’s best win but Jennings would’ve been top 5.

It's an awesome matchup of best chin ever vs best one punch power ever

I'm gonna go with Wilder by 9th round KO
