I can't believe how many people are defending this fight. It stinks. It also should of been finalized weeks ago. Wilder had his cherry pick fighting the awful Eric Molina who was not a top 50 ranked heavyweight. A school teacher. Just because Wilder underperformed he gets to have another cherry pick to try and look good against. All this while holding a major belt. Having 35 professional bouts on your resume and an Olympic medal. Call it for what it is, it's rubbish. PBC and Wilder are setting the bar very low. It's undeniable.
One of the best fights that can be made Better than Thompson, Takam for sure. Duhaupas will bring it, and he'll need to fight the perfect fight. Once Wilder touches that chin, it'll be light sout
come on MVC, don't defend this BS, you and I both know he should have fought someone of Jenning's or Ortiz's caliber, not some French no-name
I'd have more problems with Wilder facing Ortiz than Duhaupas. I really don't get why people are so high on Ortiz, he's beaten absolutely no one. At least Duhaupas beat Charr and looked good against two other fringe contenders.
maybe you're right about Ortiz, but that doesn't mean Wilder should be degenerating the value of the WBC belt even more by fighting someone of Duhaupes' level, one Molina was already enough
don't be surprised when duhaupas stops wilder. i like deontay, but he just has that aura of inevitability about him. he is destined to be ko'd by a nobody, before even stepping up the comp.
I hate to be a d*** here but you kind of requested a Duhaupas thread from me, this isn't a bad fight UTF.
He'll whine about everything Wilder related. Even if Wilder fought Povetkin now, he'll still whine that it wasn't earlier. Who cares about him when it comes to Wilder!?
