He is but he's not world title worthy.... Especially not after having a soft touch beforehand. I was one of the people who picked Duhaupas to upset Charr when he was an 8/1 underdog.

With Jack Reiss nevertheless, who allowed him to foul repeatedly :-(

Exaggeration. Life and death = almost losing. This wasn't the case.

If Duhaupas had any punch Wilder would of lost. Guy is badly overrated and despite what the announcers try to feed you he is not very good

By that logic, Wilder beats up all your old yank legends of the past, Wilder was taller than all of them.

I gravely fear for Wilder's health if a Povetkin fight goes through.

It wasn't life and death but he struggled against him for example, Klitschko or Joshua would have had this dude out in a couple of rounds maximum, Fury would have boxed him in a shutout to a stoppage.

    Not a good stoppage, I don't think.

Wilder comes away looking the worse for wear in terms of reputation. He did do a good job in getting past the adversity of the swollen eye, but he has so many holes in his skill set and he went 11 rounds with a poor opponent and needed a generous ref decision to get a stoppage win.

Also, not an entertaining fight in any respect. Dirty fighting, lack of skills, questionable referee decision at the end. Weird dancing and acting during the fight and right after, also.

Another PBC "miss" of an event.

Tonight...he had Margarito's chin. Pretty clear he was absorbing quite a few HEAVY shots.

Can't see Wilder getting past Povetkin. Then again, I couldn't before this fight either.

And Wladimir stops him early (or any time he wants).
