For whatever it's worth John Ruiz seems to be the best litmus test in the hw division when it comes to this mythological stuff. Perhaps because what he did wasn't boxing, it was a hybrid of some sorts, an "anomaly". Max said it best "Ruiz doesn't beat people he survives them", does he survive Deontay wilder or does he get iced by that right hand? This would be the hardest puncher he faced since David Haye.
