Deontay Wilder. No doubt. With a early KO win. Lewis gets caught with a clean shot like he did vs Rahman and McCall. In the rematch Lewis takes Wilder to school and dominates for 3-4 rounds before putting him to sleep. Lewis 4 out of 5 times.
Lewis is overrated though. I don't think his wins over Holyfield and Tyson was that impressive. Both were nowhere near their prime. Finally he was down on the scorecards against Vitali, but luckily Vitali's face was messed up, so the doctor stopped the fight. He could easily have lost that fight, and he also turned down a rematch afterwards and retired. And the fact he also lost against two journeyman's does that i can't rate him as one of the best HW in the history.
I think Lewis was a great HW and would favour him over Wilder with what we know at the moment, but Wilder is still in the early stages of his career and Lewis had tough fights also with fighters like Mercer. Lewis had trouble with Vitali and Wilder is a big tall HW. I would pick Lewis at this time but who knows by the end of wilders career
You consider Lennox punching a hole in Vitalis face 'luck'? VK is lucky that fight was stopped otherwise his career might well have ended prematurely that night.
