Soooo Lewis would ‘stop’ Wilder on a bad cut with the help of the ring side doctor while being down on the scorecards?? Nah. Lol Not even close. Lewis would ACTUALLY STOP Wilder on a nuclear right hand just like he did to Rahman. Nice try doe!
After collapsing on his stool after trying desperately to get Vitali out of there throwing everything he had... Vitali needed one more crisp 1-2 and Lewis would have hit the deck. Lewis is the one who ducked the rematch. Not Vitali. And we all know why.
Wilder's trash talk would succeed in pissing Lewis off, and Lewis would waste no time in rendering him unconscious. Lewis in 2.
I think it's pretty obvious that the guy that beat Vitali, Tyson, Holyfield and a host of other high level boxers should be a massive favourite over a guy whose best win was over geriatric Ortiz (who almost KO'd him) and who by the grace of blind judges drew with flabby Fury. Lewis smashes him up something awful, because Lewis could actually box.
I get the sense that Lewis isn't overly fond of Wilder, even though he has to be civil with him on camera. Lewis took exception when Wilder disrespected Mike, as Mike and Lewis are friends.
Lewis paid Tua's punch a lot of respect. I see him doing the same with Deontay and making it a chess match, at which there were few better in history. The knockout may well come but I'd see Lewis cruising to a wide points margin as the most likely outcome. I give Deontay a very slim punchers chance, in the 5% realm.
ortiz is wilders best most heroic defence by a large margin, yeh? if lewis picked a 40 year patient for a defence he'd die of embarrassment (ironically handin the title to ortiz by death). This demonstrates the gulf. Its that great canyon. The one on Mars. Lewis poop is better than Wilders shining prize.
Lennox far too classy, rounded and polished for Wilder. That said, Wilder will ALWAYS have a punchers chance against absolutely anyone.
