Deontay Wilder vs Lennox Lewis

I think Wilder would have stopped McCall (I know, Oliver had a great chin) and knocked Rahman silly.

But Steward-era Lewis? Nahhhh.

 

Wilder has maybe a 10-20% chance of getting lucky and stopping Lewis. Wilder has a zero % chance of stopping McCall. Quite frankly, not sure Wilder beats McCall.

 

McCall did have a really good punch...I guess I was just never a big fan of his style.

 

People also forget Lewis got KTFO twice by boxers with power inferior to Wilders power. Lewis is a much better boxer technically than Wilder. But his chin won't be able to take the Bomb Squad explosion that comes in the 9th round. Yeah, that's right: Wilder by KO.

 

Wilder KO Lewis in the first fight with the luckiest out of nowhere right hand. A rematch then happens and Lewis absolutely destroys him.

 

I think this is quite conceivable.

 

True, would have to say that Lewis wins every round cruising to a wide UD in a rematch if no KO

 

Wilder has a punchers chance but not a good one, he get's KTFOn 9 out of 10.

 

Wilder would have brought out the dirty, aggressive beast out of Lewis, like Michael Grant did.

 

Yeah, it's like Lewis was offended by tall guys and hated them.

This is a really hard question.

A slow-starting stringbean with no footwork, no jab, no punch variety with one good trick, who feasted on bums his entire career, vs a bigger, stronger, certified ATG with a full arsenal of punches who could start extremely fast if he had to.

Maybe I'll take the guy that didn't get knocked out by Tyson Fury.
