Ortiz was not shot in this fight he was boxing well but Wilder used decent savvy to set up the KO, Usyk`s active guard from another southpaw stance may be a different matter though, can Usyk beat Wilder?

Yes Usyk can beat wilder like Conn could beat Joe Louis. For 4/5th of the fight, or until one bomb lands be it brown or bronze!

Active guard? You mean keeping your hands up? Because Wilder can still hurt you even then.. see Stiverne who got pummelled even with hands up and the guy is a stubborn chinned 270 pound lump

What you need is to slow down Wilder methodically, hurt him with every punch keep the pressure on him because he is somewhat
Like Chisora in that the more you hit him the more he knuckles down

Thats why I think Whyte would be a good candidate because he has 23 rounds of experience fighting the strongest chisora this world has ever seen.

Whyte strongest ability is his counter punching and thats what you need against Wilder to punish him whenever he throws shots which will make him hesitate to throw and any hesitation will affect accuracy and execution on delivery

Whyte would break down Wilders mid section and the odd body shots that Ortiz landed on Wilder had Wilder in pain but Wilder is tough and kept coming forward because Ortiz didnt throw enough

Whyte would land plenty PLENTY and if they hurt Rivas and AJ they will chop wilder in two

Its just science.... wilder is 215 at 6’7 very thin mid section... he wouldnt be able to take it

Whyte carries KO power in the left and the right

Whyte is the man for job to rough up wilder and he will take notes on why Ortiz failed
