Not true. They do at least one per season per their contract, and they've even paid ESPN to do a second one at least once in the same year. Alabama vs. LSU has been on CBS at night pretty much every year the last five or six years.

 

You seem to not understand this. I am well aware that CBS often has more than one double header a season. The Alabama vs LSU game has only been a part of that scenario in two of the last 6 seasons. Regardless that isn't a reason to not have a boxing card. It is idiotic to even suggest such.

It has been in the CBS nighttime slot as the second game of a doubleheader for six years in a row. This year will likely be the seventh.
