It wasn't him. It was another fighter around my area in the states. I'm not even sure why its necessary in fights he should win?

Everything about him is not really good for the sport from him to his management to his fanbase.

But I do want to see him fight Joshua so I'll be hoping he wins here.

I've never rated Wilder and always thought any decent heavyweight would beat him & especially AJ would murder him. Though recently I did have second thoughts about the outcome of that particular fight, but when u realise they are STILL fixing fights for Wilder then his team must know he doesn't belong a the top level.

I think they played the second Stiverne fight fix beautifully. A lot of casual's have been made aware of Wilder thanks to the potential fight with AJ, and the aforementioned casual's would have sat up and took notice at this 'emphatic' first round stoppage. It certainly raised Wilder's value in the Joshua fight as crazy at that seems.

Stiverne just wanted it over and done with. Did u see him just stare at Wilder in the middle of the ring right after the first knock down lmao?

    It was a fix people.

Well I'm not sure I should mention names on here. He was a Larry Holmes trained guy early in his career...was more a bare knuckle fighter and probably the hardest puncher Wilder fought which is why they paid him too do that in case he landed.

I know how hard he hit BC I fought the guy back in the day. He didn't have much boxing career BC he wasn't dedicated and drank too much.

    Here's a hint....he's wearing camouflage.

Nah man.... I dont wanna see Wilder vs Arreola II, as short notice replacement

I'm tired of Deontay just bragging and posturing I wanna see him fight Top10 HW boxers

Can Wilder outbox Ortiz, even for half of the fight until King Kong tires out ?
I gotta see it to believe it

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Either that, or Ortiz is going to fail another drug test again or someone gets mysteriously injured.

I'll be pretty sad if Ortiz decides through with it though. That's never a good way to end your career, no matter how much money you're promised.

Is he allowed to take his blood medicine for this fight?

Look at Stiverne 1 and 2.You don't tough it out taking big shots for 12 rounds on the first fight to going down so easily in the 2nd like he did.Train right or not.....Something not right.
But i'm edging to a Wilder UD or late TKO over an old and slow Ortiz.Don't get me wrong,it's a step up for Wilder, but although he's far from the best boxer of the two,he's long with a good engine. He'll jab and move and might step it up late if Ortiz tires down the stretch.
I'll be rooting for Ortiz KO.It's the only way he can win this.

Ortiz getting slept, no doubt about it, then on to the next one. Could've been AJ but he'd become a bum overnight as well getting slept by Wilder. I dont think the pussies here could handle that.

Ortiz is easy to hit and isnt a pressure fighter, he's going to sleep, all the goofy conspiracy theories with the cromagnon set isn't going to change this reality.

Called Wilder put many times, BUT I think the fight happens this time. I think I'm picking him to win, never been that high on Ortiz to slow.

Wilder might, just might be a lot smarter than we think. Ortiz has faded due to old age.
