as i have stated in some other thread, wilder hit brazeale with the best punch he could possibly hit him with, and the guy was up at 11. he hit fury with 2 perfectly placed shots that dropped him like a sack of potatoes, and he beat the count. do you need a list of hw fighters that would have sent both those guys to the hospital if they got the same shots in on these guys, or can you work out the rest of the equation by yourself?

Clearly they did exist... but clearly.not as common as today...

    Yesterdays 6 foot 4's are todays 6 foot 7's

    6.4 today is average.

So thats a 3 inch height increase

Furthermore... what matters is HOW you use your height and reach not merely just having. it.

Joyce doesn't use his anywhere near as well as Wilder or Fury... plenty more example out there and that's the key takeway here.

Wilder will.keep you far at the end of his 83 inch reach and 6 foot 7 body whilst tilting his torso and body backwards...

No one hits harder than Wilder with one punch and Ali will not be able to avoid or handle it.

you have no idea what wilder would do to a champion level heavy, cause hes never been within a zip code of a guy like the ones were talking about.

Then why are we discussing it if you don't know?

cause we know what the other guys can do against champions, wilder aint part of that club, youre just trying to make him part.

Yeah I want a list of heavyweights who have done it as often as wilder... and I want names of boxers that you genuinely believe hit harder than Wilder with a single punch.

Breazeale got up, but was far from okay and absolutely not able to continue.

Fury took the full count to get up, and if we are being honest, he got up by some miracle, even by his own admission. Don't for one second expect that to be the case with any other fighter because Wilder is no fluke in rendering guys unconscious for the full count.

It's because you think that being a champion makes you immune to the type of power Wilder possesse..

As if when you become a champion, especially in the 70s/80s/90s era you get a visit from Zeus and Odin granting you demigod abilities that make you invincible to future fighters.

    It's bull****.

Sports science has progressed, todays boxer have gotten bigger, and stronger... and that can mean all the difference when they have been trained on how to fight... and have experience in delivering their money shot.

I'm happy to exit this conversation because we'll never be able to prove it hence I hate these discussions.

But Usyk exists, and I put him in the same boat as Ali... maybe we'll get to see that... MAYBE

Come on guys, this isn't close. Ali toys with Wilder... It's embarrassing that people are arguing the case for Wilder really.

This is a one sided beat down. Ali within 6.

We could get exhaustive but Let's just take the top three guys from that list...

    Primo Carnerra

He enjoyed a HUGE size and reach advantage over most rivals and yet only a small KO ratio:
    • 69 % KO Ratio

    George Foreman
Big puncher, like I said not one punch KO artist and Ali took all his best shots because he doesn't have the TYPE of power Wilder and Tyson has just ask Evander.
    • 83% KO ratio

    Ezzard Charles

Small heavyweight fighting other small heavyweights with a measly KO ratio at that
    • 42% KO ratio
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    And now Wilder

Usually MUCH lighter than his opponent and still KOing guys. There is a reason we have weight classes in Boxing, matters not for Wilder.
    • 95% KO ratio

again, wilders opposition is garbage, and if he ever fought those guys youre comparing him to, their ko % would get better.

Foreman vs Wilder is a different story as opposed to Ali.

Primo is a joke... Wilder would KO Primo 11 times out of 10.

Ezzard vs Wilder? Is it stand-up comedy time?

Yeah he hasn't and given your attitude he will never fight anyone of the same level because they will never exist.

Kind of moot to even discuss it right?

But I go merely on Wilders ability to put a human being on his backside, and to the people he has done it too. I see Ali and Usyk as no different.

At 6 foot 3 Ali would't be at a disadvantage in terms of height and reach as opposed to Fury. And Ali never fought a puncher as explosive as Wilder.

Anyways let's end the convo, agree to disagree, all have our opinions.
