Wilder`s reach would be too much for Gasiev he doesn`t have the fundamentals or speeed to get inside and land his shots before getting caught by Wilder, he`s never fought a fighter as tall or as long or as powerful as Wilder, he`d be destroyed.

 

If Gassiev has an iron chin, Wilder by decision and if not, Wilder by KO. But Wilder's mental state is uncertain and it may be a lot worse if Fury demolishes him again.

 

No cruiseweight could take Wilder`s power.

 

Wilder went life and death with Szpilka, who is smaller than Gassiev.

Gassiev was a big cruiser and fights at 230-235 lbs at HW. If he has an iron chin and pushes Wilder onto the back foot where his power isn't as great, he could well go the distance. I wouldn't bet on it but I wouldn't rule it out either.

Stop over exaggerating. Life and death with Szpilka? Stupid assessment of the fight. Szpilka had a few moments, but never had Wilder in serious trouble like Ortiz did. Not even close.

 

I don't think Szpilka is smaller than Gassiev. They are basically the same height, or Szpilka may be a bit taller (Gassiev overlisted), and Gassiev looks big at cruiserweight and fat at heavyweight. He looks stocky but is light, that's the sign of someone who's not a natural at the weight. Gassiev is definitely a cruiserweight.

Wilder would finish him off, no doubt.
