you keep fighting bums, and you become one yourself

Who? This guy did beat Tony Grano but poor resume. Hopefully he will step up after 30 KO's.

But how is it possible for Buck Smith to have 25 ND fights?

It was found that a lot of Buck's fights were either against fighters who were taking a dive, or really just exhibitions and boxing records aren't sure how to classify them.

Even for somewhat short notice this is still a disappointing fight for Wilder. Firtha is a respectable journeyman and may even give Wilder some rounds before gettting stopped but Wilder should be past this level.

The answer is no. Even the archetype for Olympic-accomplished heavyweights who inflated their early KO record by fighting a ton of no-hopers, George Foreman, fought an old Chuvalo and Peralta in his first 30 fights.

firtha is a big man 6 foot 5 245 lbs...he gave povetkin problems....i think this is a good stay busy fight for wilder..povetkin couldnt stop firtha...fury took 5 rds...so if wilder does it quicker...could make him look better than povetkin or fury...

This is a good stay busy fight. There was no way they could get a big name for that date, and it looks like they want to keep this guy active.
