Wilder is pathetic. No excuse to be fighting bums anymore. Wilder ducked Chisora with some BS excuse and now he is fighting another bum. He must really have chin problems.

 

Hughie is 18 and just turning pro. Wilder is just pathetic. But why bash Hughie??? I will face a top 10 fighter before Wilder does. Get off the crack

 

He fought Yakup Saglam recetly. He seemed like he didn't care and the crowd even booed the match. Only in 7th round he got serious and won by a TKO.

Last month he called out Wilder and his management tried to arrange the fight in the US, but Wilder's management walked away if I remember well.

 

Would be hilarious if one of these journeymen/cab driver types knocked Wilder out. Absolutely classic.

I think with Wilder they just know he is not ready for a Klitschko, that is why they have brought him along so slowly because people may have started demanding the fight. He needs to step up now though, he could have at least fought a few contenders like Fury has.

 

Because he couldn't knock out journeyman Tomas Mrazek, while Brits claim he has more skills than Prime Mike Tyson.

Wilder is still pretty raw. He didn't have much amateur experience prior to 2008, and that definitely showed in his Olympic performances. At 27, he's still young for a heavyweight. Give him a few more years fighting the likes of Firtha and Liakovitch before putting him in with a contender.

With his physical gifts and speed, he might still become a champ one day. But that might never happen if he gets rushed and KTFO and loses confidence.

Firtha is a decent opponent given his size and cheen. He gave Fury problems and went the full 12 against Banks and Povetkin.
