Usually not a wilder fan but last night with his effort he won me over this time. He dropped Fury twice and showed heart. Wilders power is truly a blessing.
Povetkin is a horrible style match up for Wilder, truly awful. We all know how bad he is on the back foot and Povetkin would definitely back him up. It would be short and violent.
Povetkin's a skilled fighter, decent ring IQ and would've pushed Wilder back - AJ didn't like that pressure but Wilder would fold like a cheap suit. Pov would've annihilated Wilder and he knew it, that's why he ran as fast as humanly possible when Pov popped for a teeny amount of a fairly benign substance (claiming he didn't want to fight drugs cheats, only to later cherrypick Ortiz and Fury).
98 year old Povetkin beat the crap out of bodybuilder first two rounds. Prime Pove would beat Wilder.
