This is a candidate for fantasy fight of the year. The best version of Wilder takes on the primest version of George Foreman. Both hit hard enough to spark the other. Who wins?

This could be like the George Foreman vs. Ron Lyle fight. I will go with George Foreman to prevail in a real shootout, with both hitting the floor!

It's all about the chin. I know what George's chin is made of. The man didn't even get knocked out in his second "old man" career. I'm not sure Wilder's chin has really been tested much and seeing how he gallantly but unsuccessfully handled Tyson Fury's power, I have to think Foreman puts him down for the count at some point.

Wilder more than proved his chin (and heart) in that third bout.

@Pat M why did you pick Wilder to stop Foreman?

Foreman is much more stable on his feet.
After the first knockdown, Wilder loses his legs.
    Foreman's chin is better.
Wilder can be knocked down with one punch, Foreman not so easily.
    Foreman wins by KO.

Wilder is more of a one and done shooter, Foreman is a clubber.

Could end up like the Lyle fight but I'd lean Foreman TKO that ends with a battering in the corner.

I'll go with Foreman as well. Wilder usually takes a bit to get his range dialled in. Foreman used to start fast and put a lot of pressure right away. Wilder proved himself to have a good chin but I don't believe it was as good as Foreman's who has one of the legendary HW chins. I prefer straight punches to looping shots so that might give Wilder some hope if he gets going fast enough, tbf.

Wilder will always have some chance, he is also not afraid of going into a fight, but Foreman is just too strong and more technical for him.

I'll say this about Wilder. With that right hand, he has a chance against anyone.

I don’t know how George will react when he gets hit that hard, this will happen. Wilder has a laser and not even the most rabid fan of Foreman will say he took power well in his first career- watch the Lyle fight, he was on Bambi legs and Wilder could put him there. But everything in between? Who knows not a lot between them really.
