Klitschko physical prime probably started before 2000. Just because he have 3 loses in 45 fights, 2 due to bad pacing himself and punching himself out, and one was against a guy who if someone take him lightly and he take the fight serious can KTFO almost anyone in the history. And i think his prime was over, when Emanuel Steward passed away or a little bit after that, 2012-2013, when he was 37 year old. Klitschko improve a lot with Steward and prove once again how important trainers are for fighters and not only. Klitschko with Banks was getting worst and worst. Of course years are also responsible for that. Anyway Klitschko prime is pretty long, and not much fighter can be praise for staying in their prime for such longevity time. And it`s always hard to say and guess what will be the result in such fight. The best thing to do is to look at both fighter skills, resume, trainer, how are they tacticals, how good were they in their prime and so on. And in the direct comparison Wilder lose everything. Sorry to Donky Wilder fans, but i can`t get this guy serious. In his 32 fights and win before challenge for the title, he doesnt have 1 serious name in his record. Not a single one.
