You know, the only thing that would be a question mark to me is Bowe's chin because Wilder is a powerful HW puncher and Bowe didn't have the best chin. Otherwise, I pick Bowe to stop Wilder.
Wilder would have a puncher’s chance, which basically means I don’t think he wins. Of course he is dangerous with his power and Bowe’s leaky defense (particularly from the outside), but Bowe was WAY more polished and skilled than Wilder, and Wilder is far from a defensive whiz himself nor does he have a chin like Zeijko Mavrovic. Bowe had an excellent workrate and was extremely effective on the inside, so wilder would probably try to keep it on the outside. Bowe had a good overhand right, which would be ideal against a taller opponent like Wilder. Bowe probably stops wilder in a few rounds.
It depends on Bowe, since he was too inconsistent. An out of shape Bowe gets a beating and takes a loss on the cards, but an in shape Bowe would go to work on Wilder's body and neutralize Wilder's right hand and wear him down for the stoppage.
If Bowe thought that Lennox's right hand was hard in the Olympics, imagine Wilder's now...lol lmao. Bowe is 6'5 and Wilder is 6'7. If Bowe tried to Holyfield him, Bowe would be the first human to go flying after his own head after Wilder landed his right hand! Golota boxed Bowe who couldn't box a lick to me. Wilder is a boxer. Bowe has no heart. Lennox took his soul in the Olympics and Bowe gave up a belt rather than fight him.
