Charley Goldman and whitey bimstein claimed bingo hit very hard. Marciano claimed in 1962 bingo hit him like no other man

The point is, you made a statement that Vingo spent the rest of his life in a wheel chair that is total bullsh*t..

Vingo was Rockys guest at one of the Walcott fights and paid his own expenses to be at Marciano's funeral.

Vingo may have hit hard, the reports of the fight say he rocked Marciano several times. but his ko record is as follows :

By the way that link you provided shows Vingo coming out of the hospital walking with a cane, he never used a wheel chair and after a few weeks threw away the cane.

Did you read the article? It stated vingo has a lot more fights than his record implies. Marcianos biography lists vingo as 27-3

Vingo was a big prospect in 1949. Read the papers at the time. Vigo was young big 6'4 190-197lb, packed a hard punch according to whitey bimstein and Charlie Goldman....only 20 years old. I would say that's s lot of potential.

He also rocked Marciano and fought him savagely, which proves he had serious potential because Marciano was an animal!

Now here's a modern match up against a much taller opponent that I would pick Marciano to win by brutal KO. Wilder is a one trick pony with a suspect chin. Marciano probably hits hard enough to hurt him, and is sturdy enough to take Wilder's punches, but his stamina and work rate would just cut through Wilder like a buzz saw. I see Marciano softening up Wilder's body, shaking his chicken legs, and then going upstairs to end it with a crushing left hook to the jaw.

 

Vingo was 189lbs for their fight. You need to produce more than a vague," he had several more fights ,"which by the way it says he did not win all of.

 

It did say he had a dozen consecutive knockouts

Bingo was 197 in another fight. By age 25 I bet he fills out to 205-210
