Chagaev wasn't very hittable at all. Lots of head movement, blocking, parrying and footwork made him difficult to hit clean, and his iron chin allowed him to take plenty of punishment when he was.

Wilder is also unlikely to be stalking him; Chagaev's going to be the one putting Wilder on the backfoot with intelligent pressure while Wilder tries to counter him with winging shots that miss big. Very little incidence of one of those realistically landing.
