All listed below are durable opponents, who does he beat? Mariusz Wach - In my opinion up there with McCall, Hagler and Chuvalo in punch resistance, 6'8" 252 lbs but lacks speed. Kevin Johnson - Great defensive boxer with a granite chin behind it, good boxing ability but never uses it. Derek Chisora - Relentless pressure, very good chin. When sticking to a game plan can give anyone hell. Chris Arreola - Tough as hell with decent boxing skill, lacks discipline to get/stay in shape. Dominick Guinn - Never been down once, had all the tools but fights like it's a sparring session. Who does he beat and who does he stop.
Wilder UD Wach Wilder UD Johnson Chisora UD Wilder (or KO, who knows) Wilder vs Arreola : Not sure.... gonna lean towards Arreola by late TKO Wilder UD Guinn just imo
I would like to see him against Wach or Chisora next. We still don't know what happens when someone hits Wilder back and takes him into the late rounds. He still looks sloppy to me. He has been VERY carefully matched and I think there is a reason for that.
UD against Wach no way, that guy is a walking punching bag, he took Klitschkos best shots but Wilder over commits his shots, he would stop Wach early from landing a straight right c0cked back from his last fight
I'd take Wilder over Wach and Guinn, other fights are tough to gauge. I'd lean towards Arreola winning, Johnson losing by decision, and Chisora probably getting stopped.
I disagree. I don't think that fight will ever happen tho (not because its too dangerous or anything, I just don't see Wach being on anyones radar)
Only person i can see surviving is Johnson, he does get hit though one shot to the side of the head and it could be over
You think Wilder stops Guinn? Don't buy the hype ACS! jk jk :good Ay, we will see. Im just happy to have some excitement at heavyweight. Im liking heavyweight more now then I think I ever have. (Keep in mind I didn't start following boxing til Lewis's reign)
It wont happen Klitschkos never really commit with their punches, watch Wilder's punch on Price, he could land ones like them on Wach easily, no way Wach takes every one
Wow I'm not sure I can pick him to win a UD against someone like Chisora. We know nothiing about his stamina yet. He does have a weak chin for sure I can tell by his build. Lets not forget all the hype Michael Grant got until he stepped up. Wilder needs to step up now. If he blows out Arreola by first round KO I will start to watch him more.
Haha The thing is like the punch he landed today these side of the head punches can put anyone to sleep or make their body just give up on them, a chin punch is one thing but to the side of the head clean can be game over
