Wilder’s management was the best thing he had going for him. He wouldn’t have become a millionaire without them. He simply didn’t have the tools to beat good fighters on a consistent basis. Old Ortiz is pretty much his only win of note and even in that he was out boxed every round before landing the money shot. I don’t begrudge Wilder going back to his bread and butter against this Texan guy. He tried fighting lower level top 10 types his last few fights and got destroyed. He may as well make money knocking over cans.

Poor matchup, wont be watching. Complete waste of time for Wilder, specially considering it will only happen in june.

If the idea is an easier bout, they should be doing a card in Alabama, with Charr, B. Moore, Hysa, C. Cheaney or Negron as the opponent.

Wilder should win this easily but who knows, Wilder has looked beyond shot in his last couple of fights it wouldn't surprise me if he somehow lost this fight.
