If Fury fights the rematch in the US then he gets stiffed on the cards. If it is in the U.K. then Fury wins via UD. Lennox Lewis was the exception to the rule, in terms of an away fighter in the USA getting a fair card in a rematch.
Obviously I felt Fury won last night but I think that Fury fought his best fight. Wilder did eventually catch him twice, and has room to improve, he lands three times over 12 rounds, he'd have won. - Both fighters last night would've beat AJ btw.
Both can get better but Deontay carries that equaliser no matter what, he's dangerous till the final bell.
And he only got a fair deal in the rematch because of the international outrage over the decision, the FBI even investigated the result it was such a blatant robbery and was such a big story. Wilder/Fury isn't as big as that fight and won't get as much attention and so it can slip under the radar and they'll know they can do the same again in the rematch without any repercussions.
Fury's got more upside in the rematch. This was a massive step up for him after the well-publicized layoff. If he doesn't let himself go in the meantime, he'll be in better shape next time around. Also keep in mind that Fury is actually three years younger than Wilder.
