    No news what so ever.

He's hiding somewhere, hoping the boxing world will forget about him and his belt.

I believe he's recovering from a broken hand so it may be a while 'til we see him in the ring again.

Im looking forward to his next fight when ever it is. Chin or no chin, stupid BOMMMMMB SQUADDDDDDD shouts or no stupud shouts he seems game. I will either see him get sparked out cold or looking for a KO himself.

And hes no slouch in a division of alot of slouches. If he can stay on his feet he is guna bring a bit of entertainment. Doesnt seem the type to go all quiet and defensive hes guna either be live in the fight or out cold.

I know i say all this after he has come off a 12 rounder but that was Stivernes fault, theres not guna be many go the distance one way or another.

He is hoping for Billy Wright to get in the top 15 so he can fight him as a voluntary defense. Until then, he won't fight anyone.

Strip him. Take that belt back.

Look at Tyson's record when he won the WBC. He was onto his second defense at this stage.

Wilder needs a lay off after fighting absolute bums ? get in that ring

The hate runs deep in this thread.

And I foresee it getting deeper.

    Good post.

While Im not PERSONALLY a fan, I agree with your post.

He showed GREAT poise vs Stiverne and even overcame a TAD BIT of adversity.

That said, I do believe he'll get sparked by a top EE fighter, or even Fury, Haye, and quite possibly by Arreola.

I would like to see him in action though, since it is guaranteed to have action. Like Fury, he's a love hate type fighter. And with his chin deficiencies, he's gonna get a lot of hate, and with his power, he'll get some love too.

But......he IS nursing a broken hand, and I don't think the WBC is gonna strip him for not getting right back into the ring.
1.....he aint even got a mandatory yet.
    2. Even if there was a mandate, he deserves a voluntary before potentially being dethroned. At least one gift payday.

I'd like to see him get Szpilka in the summer. Maybe July or August. He should be negotiating for that fight right now, so he could schedule another voluntary vs Arreola before being forced to fight Potvetkin next Spring.:think

Wilder is sitting on his belt just like Cotto did with his. He won't be holding on to it for very long.
