Why all the hate for Wilder? He tries to step it up but as you see with Fury no one wants to fight him. I think Wilder is fast and punches pretty damn hard so that makes him a risky fight for anyone. Yes he does need to step it up for sure but I don't understand why he is hated by so many. Maybe is because he is American? But the reason I'm not sold on him yet is because I've heard rumors that he has a glass jaw. I'm never sold on a fighter with a weak chin and that is the reason I've never been sold on Wlad.
It looks like a huge step up for Mago. If he stops McCline early like the rest of his victims then I think he becomes the real deal, a serious player in the division. I wont be surprised if he comes unstuck though.
WOW this is SAD 20 years as pro Chagaevs 3 biggest wins Vyrchys, Valuev and Ruiz ? :rofl 1) This content is protected - the fact that you had to resort to putting in Vyrchys tells how much of a joke chagaevs career has been :-( 2) This content is protected - coming off back to back losses, one of them to former middleweight Toney , but Ruslan made it 3 in a row for old Johnny 3) This content is protected - congrats on him beating the absolute worst guy ever to hold the garbage WBA title that it has become. such a tough feat to accomplish former cruiserweight Haye even did it
yeah it was the Vietnam scenes... Gump is one of those movies that are good but you dont need to watch a second time
You make it sound like all the HW's fight Ring top tens (at the time of the fight) but that's never been the case. David Haye for example has only ever beaten one HW who was in the Ring top 10 at the time of the fight.
people will hate on anyone that is coddled. especially heavyweights of his size beating up midgets over and over. then they hear how much skill and power he has yet next time up fights a guy with 9 losses in a row. thus the hate begins because they want to see him in a competitive fight or they want to see him lose
David Haye hasnt been a heavyweight for 20 years and thats Chagaevs claim to fame? :rofl pathetic. and pathetic you scramble to make chicken soup out of chicken ****.
ok...my bad 15 years...... thought he turned pro in 1992...it was 1997 either way....the argument remains the same..... 15 years or 20 years, he has been a non factor and a joke
Chagaev is alright, he's never had hype and huge marketing but he was a solid if unspectacular alphabet title holder
Yeah Haye was lucky to get a decision against Valuev who was a bad fighter anyway. Wilder would easily beat Mormeck too so...
Yeah people hate Wilder because he is a real threat and he is an American. And they say he has a glass jaw because he was knocked down once 11 fights ago. They forget to mention that he showed heart and got up off the floor and knocked out the guy who dropped him! Wilder is being trained by Marc Breland for God's Sake! Breland knows a thing or two. Many of the same people who hate Wilder love Haye. Haye made a career out of fighting the worst possible guys. He fights Mormeck instead of Adamek or Cunningham. He fights Valuev instead of Vitali or Wlad. And Haye still hasn't fought a top ten heavyweight not to mention that he was dropped by Monte Barrett.
Except what so many of you fail to understand is that they just can't find guys who will get into the ring with Wilder. (several decent opponents have actually dropped-out in the past) He's been complaining about this for the last few years. Would you fight him? Say what you want about his skills (which look just fine to me) Wilder is incredibly dangerous. Yet, if you beat him, his current ranking is so low that it won't help your career at all. So, the only reason to fight him would be if there's a lot of money at stake, and Wilder has not reached a level where there's any real money to be made. So again, why would anyone want to get into the ring with him? As I've said so many times, this isn't just a problem for Wilder, it's one of the main problems with the sport of boxing as a whole.
