If I were GBP, I'd decide to take a loss on Wilder's next 3-4 fights:

Find decent opponents who have a chance against him, (Fury, Adamek, etc) and just pay them a shitload of money. - Pay them much more than the fight will generate, just to convince them to take the fight.

They might lose a few million in the short-term, but if Wilder beats them all, especially with KO's, then they'd finally have a rising star on their hands and big profits down the road.

I don't think they're smart enough to look at it this way.

thats a bunch of crap. :rofl

every heavyweight that is worth 2 cents comes up the ranks destroying BUMS.... at some point a major TV or cable network buys into it by making him a part of a boxing show or even a headliner...and with that comes larger purses for BETTER (LIVE) opponents which gives them the only reason they need to fight him....MONEY. Why hasnt HBO gobbled this guy up? Even ESPN Friday Night fights wouldnt air any of his fights at this point in his career due to **** level. If you think he has every heavyweight from #1 to #300 running scared, you would be mistaken. its bad management or really good management because they know something we dont

There's plenty Klit victims who wrecked bums until they got in the ring with either brother. Wilder is unproven to be any better than these guys.

  7. Right, good plan, pay fury a **** load of money to go over there, while all the African American fans chant USA, USA, USA.

And then fury ktfo wilder in the first round and another hbo African American hype job gets brutally demolished and hbo are a million out of pocket.

Dude, why you aren't a promoter ill never know

    Dear shaunster101,
    Kind Regards

    Great question.
Wilder has not yet fought anyone of note, as his late start to the sport would ensure him he'd be fed easy competition for a while now.
That being said, I remember he called out Tyson Fury, to which Fury has yet to respond, in essence, saying no.
How can he fight someone "good" like Fury if they won't accept his challenges?
Wilder feels he is ready, it's time for others to step up to the plate.

    Yours truly,
    Macehualli

    This.

What do Ali, Lewis, Foreman, Vitali, Wlad, Bowe, Holyfield, Louis and Tyson have in common? They had all won a HW title about 4 years after their pro-debut. What's Wilder doing? Fighting Kertson Manswell, who was stopped in his last fight, has now lost 6 of his last 8, not beaten a fighter with a winning record in more than 3 years...in fact only beaten two fighters with a winning record in his last 15 fights...and this name keeps coming up as one of Wilders BETTER victories. The mind boggles.

In all fairness, comparing him to the best HWs of yesteryear isn't going to look good unless he's really at that level, which I currently doubt he is. It's good to see a fighter that takes his trade seriously and stays in shape, for that I give him credit. But for the opposition he faces, and the lack of interest he generates, I can't blame anyone other than him and his team. Tyson Fury may eventually get beaten by Wilder (of that I'm not so sure until Wilder steps up), but Fury has done a much better job of getting his name out there, and has had bigger fights as a result...and now appears to be negotiating to get a fight with Chagaev, that's a credit to him and his team.

  14. What racism? I said African American, that's politically correct.

Wilder is nothing but the latest African American hope.

Remember, like Tommy Morrison was the great "white" hope (not African-European, because it's alright to use derogatory terms when it's a white guy"

Wilder will fall as soon as he faces a strong, dominant European
