Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury will break 1 million PPVs Been telling anyone that would listen for a long long long time that Deontay will be the HW king. So far so good. Now I am telling anyone that will listen that Deontay Wilder will fill Canelo's PPV void. After Deontay Wilder knocks out Tyson Fury then Anthony Joshua is next if Eddie Hearn deems it winnable for his fighter. We will see what will transpire. I have read many times on this forum that Wilder vs Fury will be lucky to break 300,000. Do not underestimate Wilder capturing the fascination of the boxing world. It will happen. I will bump this post after the numbers are in just to say I told you so once again.
Dude, when you say that you know you are setting yourself up for someone else to bump this thread when it comes no where close to 1 mil buys.
Donut is right You demented wilder fanboys would rather wilder was on PPV for $100 than spend $9.99 a month to get 2-3 wilder fights plus a whole host of other boxing You wilder fanboys are a deranged breed of idiots. Possibly the WORST ive seen in boxing.
Doesn't work that way people are not just waiting about with $70-80 hoping a PPV comes along lol. If we compare it to the Canelo/GGG rematch which did 1.1 mill PPV buys, 6 weeks out they had already almost sold out the T-Mobile arena with 20K capacity, it was reported there were only 2000 tickets left. Wilder/Fury in comparison 6 weeks out, still haven't released the upper tier cheap seats, probably to force early purchasers to buy the more expensive lower tier tickets and there's still whole sections almost untouched looking at the AXS website. The staples centre has a 21K capacity but it looks like they've sold maybe half the tickets so far, maybe more, plus there are tons of resale tickets still on the stubhub site which is the official reseller. Now this doesn't mean this fight won't sell out, still 6 weeks to go, but obviously in comparison to Canelo/GGG the demand simply isn't the same and that will reflect in the PPV numbers.
