He's still stopping guys, and the better your comp gets, the kos become infrequent. That's expected. But clueless fans like you don't understand boxing. Making fun of guys chin is what you're good at armchair. Nobody respects an armchairs opinion anyway.
How many heavies today have footwork? His chin hasn't failed him yet and he's been hit square on it. And his ring IQ has not been bad or terrible in any fight. And the only fighter that you're talking about is Wlad.
Listen sonny, I've been following boxing for 35 years, and in that time, I have never seen a touted fighter fight more pathetic "competition" than Wilder for longer. Seven ****ing years and the only real opponent he's fought is Stiverne!!!atsch There is a REASON for this, and the evidence is found in his getting KTFO in the ams, KDd by pathetic no-hopers like Nichols and Sconiers and rocked by quite a few other of these cab drivers as well. Wilder is a fraud and his fragile glass jaw is going to get brutally exposed by Povetkin. Wake up and smell the coffee, fanboy!:deal
^^^^^^^^^^If I answered this **** post that you wrote seriously...I'd be showing you respect. I've been watching boxing for 42 years and I've seen and heard of many hofs get stopped in the AMs. It's what you do as a pro that counts. I have yet to see Wilder seriously hurt in a fight. You predicted that Povetkin would shatter Wlads chin so stfu lol. Fighters win and lose and fighters get knocked down and out. Fans like you don't appreciate fighters. Fans like me do.
So, you've never observed the career of Lucian Bute and now the 8 year career of his cousin, Little G Golovkin? Not to mention the Welsh Bum King, Joe Calzaghe? Wilder is getting better with each fight and has all the tools to become a great champion. All he needs to do is get his mindset anchored and he's well on the way to doing that. As usual, you followed the sport for decades and still YDKSAB.
Good ****ysis from Blizzy and Bomber. It's a very intriguing match. Povetkin should still be the favorite, and my biggest concern is I don't see Wilder being able to, or even trying to, clinch Povetkin when he inevitably gets inside like Wlad. Will his chin, which has actually proved itself much better than the haters suggest, be able to withstand it while he's fighting Povetkin on the inside like with Duhaupas? My head and gut lean toward no, but I could very well see it going the other way. Neither fighter has fought an opponent quite like the other one before, although I think Povetkin came closer with Wlad ( Wlad has superior strength, clinching and experience, but maybe Wlad would have just finished Povetkin off if he hadn't clinched so often?). I'm much more intrigued by this fight than Wlad Wilder, but I DON'T want the unification fight to be a repeat of Wlad Povetkin.
Had Wilder been flailing around and wobbling against 209 lb Huck...Wilder would be crucified tenfold!!!
^This, this place is such a crackhouse sometimes. Honestly, I think the OP is blinded by his irrational hatred of caucasian fighters.
I would caution Wilder to avoid the outside uppercuts he was wildly throwing against the French man:deal I still say Wilder will win but it's not going to be an easy fight as he will receive some big bumps and lumps from this match:!:
Wlad made a decision. Every time Povetkin rushed in with hooks and right hands, he clinched him. He could've put out more power shots but he controlled the fight. Style wise Wilder has a very good chance of not only beating Povetkin but kayoing him-and vice versa. Wilder is getting better at infighting when he has to, but his jab will be the key in their fight.
