Sounds like you know what your talking about. He has long arms and he creates so much whip and when he fully commits to those shots its a recipe for disaster for his hand, even if thrown correctly IMO. I'm not sure he can fight like that anymore.

That remains to be seen. However I do think the possibility that it will give him problems is on his mind.

He might know or it he might not but he won't do anything about it. He can't really. Not unless he wants to go right back to the drawing board.

Most likely he'll just fight exact the same way he has in the past and end up injuring his hands again. The only thing it'll affect is how often he'll fight due to the time he takes off for rehab.

I fear the same. It has to be hard to go back to the same mentality as before. I hope hes able to, but I expect it to be a challenge.

    Wilder's a bit stuck really.

He's built his brand off the style he's fought in since turning pro, and now to go back to the drawing board and fundamentally change who he is as a fighter and an individual must be nigh on impossible. But to keep fighting the way he's doing will only set him back again sooner or later.

I think Wilder will just ignore it and hope there isn't a reoccurrence of his injury. He might tone back on the go for broke mentality but I'd be shocked to see anything more than minor changes in his style. I wouldn't be surprised to see no change in his style at all frankly. There wasn't any in the aftermath of his first injury.

It'll make him a better fighter. At times he got too right hand happy. I don't think there's much to worry about his hand, arm and power and if anything, let him worry about it. The concern trolling by some is amusing though.

Um, he has injured it before.
This is the third time it has happened.

I've always been a bit wary of Wilder's reputation for power. Many of his KOs have been huge, looping overhands that most boxers would not throw for fear of being countered. I suspect Deontay would be substantially less fearsome boxing against opponents dangerous enough to make him more fundamentally sound.

Your right. Just look är his weak bone structure. Not build for such powerful punches.
