Hey bro I'm not downplaying anything. I'm rooting for Wilder to knock AJs head off. I think Wilder is the number 2 man in the division. Just think AJ is too complete for Wilder.
There will be excuses after Wilder knocks out AJ but less than the excuses if he beats Fury. That's why I didn't want this fight. I knew the usual suspects would be coming up with excuses before. By the way I'm not grouping you in with them, just saying this has already happened. Prior to the fight being made and it being unrealistic, all I heard was Fury schools Wilder.
Shot? Based off what? ell, Tyson looks way SLOWER than he did against Wlad, imo. It’s the eye test. I am not saying Tyson can’t beat Wilder, not saying Tyson is crap compared to 3plus years ago. I am saying the eye test shows me he is slower in his last two fights and that won’t help him against a very tall very fast Wilder. What’s so hard about accepting that? It’s not your agenda by chance??
I'm watching the Fury Wlad fight right now as we speak. Fury just looks like a real fighter in that fight. Against Pianeta, he looks like a journeyman. Body was much tighter vs Wlad. Its what me eyes are telling me. On a side note, I really want to see Deontay drop him like a sack of potatoes.
Have you seen any Fury fight besides against Wlad? Against Wlad he was cautious and fought a perfect fight. Against someone like Pianeta he showed no respect and was just clowning. He had nothing to be worried about. Against Wlad you have to be on point or you're going to sleep. Is this such a hard concept to grasp?
He should do..... In fact he better do..... If Fury schools him, it makes a mockery of Wilder's career.
Personally i'd like to see a good fight. Fury winning 6 of the first 8 rounds would make for a truly great fight..... But I see Fury getting caught earlier than that as he's just not going to be in good enough shape, unless Wilder is even worse than everyone thought.
Wilder is favorite with the bookies and fighting at HOME. What is this high risk low reward you're talking about? LOL A high risk LOW reward fight would be facing Usyk in Kiev....(where it would make no money).
It's a high risk low reward fight in terms of credit. Extremely difficult fight and very low credit rewarded because of the usual suspects like you.
What you are saying is possible, regardless, Fury has looked slower since his comeback and therefore does not yet appear to be quite the force he was when he beat Wlad. That’s all ellerbe. No reason to use that to begin your agenda driven bull that you are obsessed with bringing back into this blessed forum time and time again.
A difficult fight would command a lot of credit naturally. This is not one of them, I'm picking Wilder btw and if he wins he will credit compatible to what a HOME fighter should get who's FAV with the bookies.
yeah, if its a great fight on both ends and Wilder comes out on top then huge props to Wilder (I already rank him number 2 in the world), but if Fury looks slow like his last two fights and gets sparked out easy, well no, I will give him some credit but not enough to make me think he can beat AJ, who I think is beatable.
The second Wilder lets his hands go the fight is over, it's that easy and simple. Fury is not the same fighter he was a few years ago and he wasn't even that great then. And before you start telling me how slick, tricky, skilled Fury is and was and what a great fight he fought against Klitschko please go and look at the Fury Vs Klitschko RBR on this site and read what very creditable posters were saying before, during and after. Stop rewriting history and trying to tell me Fury was and is some kind of modern day great, the truth is Fury is and was OK, nothing more and nothing less, he is just tall with a decent jab. The Pianeta performance was very poor and he isn't ready for Wilder, Joshua, Povetkin, Whyte, Ortiz, Parker, Miller and a maybe a few others, its my belief they would all beat him right now and that's why he came back with a poor level of opposition, this is a money grab and I don't mind that, good luck to him but he isn't beating any top fighters in the heavyweight division anytime soon. Bump this on December 2nd and slaughter me if I'm wrong about what happens with Wilder.
