he KO's GARBAGE that are 40 years old, a foot shorter and out of their natural weight division by 50 pounds gee, that means alot :-(
Isn't really much to gain from fighting tomato cans still at this stage. He's learning nothing by fighting guys like he has been. He needs to face a Zack Page/Daniel Peret or someone similar to give him a few rounds
I echo the sentiments of most of those in this thread. Wilder is a pathetic, glass-jawed can who is going to go the same way as another china-chinned can crusher, Tye Fields. Most disgraceful of all is how Wilder receives so much attention on this forum, more than any other American heavyweight. Malik Scott, for example, heroically reaches an unprecendented 34-0 and secures a fight with a hard hitter in Bowie Tupou on the Ward-Dawson undercard, and receives comparatively little attention, as well as abuse from pathetic haters like iceman71 and SimplyTheBest, among others.
i like Wilder his opponents though not great have been improving in quality and he is being moved smartly and not too fast or being rushed i like the skills i see and i feel he has improved a lot as a pro all i ask as a fan is that soon he faces a guy who will take him the distance or close to it, he needs a guy to test his stamina and defense and go rounds so he can develop ring IQ
Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows OG Malik ****ing schools Wilder. This content is protected This content is protected
The next guy he's facing certainly isn't a step up, 39 years old, inactive, 5'11, came in at 230 last time out...thats a step back from even the Beck's and Mancswell's of the world
Yeah a fighter has to be developed by moving up. I'd say with only half as many professional bouts Bryant Jennings has already stepped up much, much more than Wilder. We keep hearing about how Wilder picked up the sport late and had limited amateur experience but Jennings had even fewer amateur bouts, Jennings doesn't have an Olympic medal and Jennings also doesn't have the attention/cheer leaders/dick suckers (excuse me) of Wilder.
Where is he quoted believing ANY hype, let alone "his own?" Where is he quoted bitching, about anything except the lousy opponents his management keeps finding for him? Wilder is about as humble & down-to-earth a guy as you'll ever come across. In every interview I've seen, he talks about how he still has weaknesses to work on. The author of that article is just pissed because Wilder declined to give him an interview. Seriously, dude, stop pulling things directly out of your ass. You sound like a Tea Party candidate.
