Deontay Wilder's boxing skills is laughable. Prime Floyd Mayweather would toy with him

    I don't care that Floyd Mayweather is a foot shorter and maybe 80 lbs lighter. If they fought at their optimal weights in their prime, Floyd would make Wilder look silly.

    See how Fury made Wilder look like an amateur, swinging and hitting the air all the time? Now imagine Mayweather, who is much faster and more skilled. Wilder would not even land one clean hit. His boxing skills is pathetic.

    All that power is useless if you can't hit someone too fast for you

    Pleaeaease tell us that this is merely a joke.
    If somehow you are not trolling, & actually believe that Mayweather would stand a chance against a HW champion & one that tall & long, however fundamentaly flawed...

    This could be a sign of the apocolypse.
    Jockopolypse perhaps.

    No. Just no, Floyd would have his head caved in. You do realise that Floyd relied on a reach advantage for his style? He never fought someone with a longer reach than him and Wilder's is about a foot longer.

    At first when I read the title, I thought, “alright, it’s plausible. If they both fought at the same weight class, alright.”
    Then I saw the optimal weight class part.

    Wilder would literally kill Floyd in a boxing ring, what an idiotic thread. Imagine a grown man beating up a child, this fight would be extremely ugly to watch. There's absolutely nothing Floyd can do to trouble Wilder, even blocked shots would hurt Floyd.

    Even a 50 year old retired heavyweight would annihilate a welterweight, let alone one who is at their peak.

    I’d love to see Floyd try to shoulder roll a Wilder right hand, especially when it’s coming from about a foot higher than normal.
