Indeed... When your resume is so thin that your best win is a bloke with a worse resume than Chisora, it says a lot.

Whether Wilder could've beaten genuine contenders or not, he chose to avoid them.

We can debate how it would've gone until the cows come home, but the long and short of it is he's massively hyped considering how little he's really beaten.

What legacy? His claim to fame is beating Stiverne, and a 53 year old Cuban, who had done nothing of note besides get knocked out by Wilder twice.

I think Wilder's legacy will be equally as dented by who he didn't fight. I genuinely think Usyk, Joshua and Fury are all more than happy to fight each other. Just can't say the same about Wilder.

He never showed any interest in Wlad which was strange, more concerned with endless voluntaries. Only showed an interest in Fury when he looked like Homer Simpson in a Hawaiian dress. I don't think he would have been dragged into that saga otherwise.

Joshua, Povetkin and Whyte fights didn't happen for various reasons. Of course there were legit reasons at certain times, but when history looks back it will seem obvious Wilder was the common denominator.

I was dreading Wilder beating Fury because it would have just held the division up again. Can't imagine he ever would have wanted a part of Usyk.
