Lol "Tune up", it ceases being tune ups when that's simply the level of your opposition throughout your career. Ward-Brand was a tune up, this is just a typical Wilder opponent.

Perfectly stated. No such thing as a tune up with Wilder. Just never a step up

Off an injury? Jeez, he fought 5 months ago, he doesn't need an effing tune up, he's had 4 of them in a row!

I don't like this fight. He should've targeted Parker.

Then he should be stripped. Even if hes not no one will take him serious and his credibility as a fighter will go down the drain worse than it already is. its time for him to put up or shut up.

He can do that in sparring. And when you are setting records for consecutive soft defenses it is that serious, it demeans the sports and the accomplishments of the atgs who have actually beat quality op to get to 5 successful defenses in a row.

Wilder's 5th voluntary title defense against another bum, nobody else could get away with such fraud! He will never fight anyone who can fight................................

No its not so serious that you should get so emotional over it is what i meant. The fact is he is fighting who hes going to fight and there is nothing you,me or anyone can do to change that. I dont worry about it because eventually he has to fight the top guys in the sport as he cant keep crushing cans forever. I dont care how many defenses he has because they dont mean jack until he steps in with top guys.
If DW retired tomorrow hed go down as one of the most insignifigant hw champions in history based on his resume. He has absolutely no legacy to speak of at this point so he has to do something dramatic in his following fight to start building that legacy. At this point his legacy is nowhere near even a baffoon like Tyson Fury who will always have the Klitschko victory to live off.

Parker got flack for staying busy and fighting Dimitrenko and Haumono in a year he fought 5x. Wawrzyk is in the same tier of fighter as those guys, difference being this is for a world title.... There's absolutely no defending this farce.
