That doesn't count... Povetkin does his career the other way round.

Wilder is a work in progress. He needs more time.

Wilder is no better than Tye Fields, if he steps up in competition he is guaranteed to be KO'd, so I don't really blame him for joining the bum fights circuit.

Enough of this bull****. Wilder needs to step up in class. Fighting cans like these does nothing for him. If he doesn't start fighting guys in the top 50 by next year I'll start to call him out.

They are taking this kid the Gerry Cooney route trying to get a big money fight in a few years. Wait and see.

Deontay's not bad, from the footage i've seen. He has to learn to use his talents better, but he has some skills.

Problem with Wilder is that he has ****ing Mark Breland as a trainer and not Manny Steward. He doesn't use his height well, and he was an extremely raw HW prospect so they have to take there time.

To be fair, Wilder is still learning on the job. He had less than 5 yrs amateur experience ( I think it was reported at 2 or 3 years). Wilder, was the only medalist at the last Olympics for the boxing team.

He's being over protected. It is only going to hurt him. At 13-0 he needs to be in 8 round fights with good 8 round boxers. He dose not need to be in with world class guys right now but at some point and some point soon if he is ever going to do anything he has to take risks.
